| During the period of the new democratic revolution, socialist transformation and construction, the Communist Party of China has always practiced the purpose of the party, and has made arduous explorations to run the university that is satisfactory to the people. Inthe new era of reform and opening up, the important expositions of the party and state leaders on running a university that is satisfactory to the people provide the basic guidelines for running the university that is satisfactory to the people.In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the core essence of Xi Jinping's thoughts on running the university that is satisfactory to the people is to fully implement the party's leadership education policy, effectively perform the party's leadership responsibilities, closely follow the fundamental issues of morality and cultivating people, and institutionally guarantee the party's comprehensive leadership in education. To implement the spirits of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech, and how to run the university that is satisfactory to the people, from the perspective of party building in colleges and universities, we must focus on four directions:strengthening the party's ideological leadership, the party's work leadership, the party's organizational leadership, and the party's clean government leadership. |
