A variety of fixed point iterative methods have been used to solve the absolute value equation Ax-|x|-b=0. Inspired by their work, a fixed point iterative method for solving the absolute value equation of M-matrix was suggested, its convergence under proper conditions was assessed, and its practicality and validity was validated using numerical examples. |
