| 团结统一是党的立身之本，也是中国共产党带领中国人民在革命、建设、改革道路上战胜一切艰难险阻，不断迈向伟大胜利，成长为百年大党、铸就世纪伟业的关键所在。维护和增进党的团结统一，首先要厚实党的团结统一的思想基础，筑牢共产党人的精神支柱；其次要严明党的纪律，为党的团结统一提供制度保障；再次要坚定“四个自信”，增强“四个意识”，拥护“两个确立”，做到“两个维护”，汇聚全党团结统一的思想和行动自觉。 |

| Unity and solidarity, as the foundation of the Party, is conceived as the pillar for the CPC to lead the Chinese people to overcome all difficulties and dangers on the road of revolution, construction and reform, and to constantly move towards great victory, grow into a century old party, and forge the great cause of the century. To maintain and enhance the unity and solidarity of the Party, we must first strengthen the ideological foundation and build a solid spiritual pillar for CPC members. Secondly, we must enforce strict Party discipline and provide institutional guarantees. Finally, we must uphold the Four-sphere Confidence,strengthen the Four Consciousnesses, and endorse the Two Affirmations, maintain the Two Upholds for building consensus and forming conscious initiative of unity and solidarity throughout the Party. |
