| Xi Jinping’s important discourse on carrying forward the great Long March Spirit comprehensively traces the formation of this spirit, explains its essence and development from a systematic perspective, and reveals its contemporary value for China’s present reality. Propagating the Great LongMarch Spirit in the new era holds great significance for navigating the global landscape, advancing reform and opening-up, and strengthening Party-building. In practice, advancing the Long March in the new era requires adherence to the Party’s leadership, a people-centered stance, and the safeguarding of the fundamental interests of the people. It calls for self-reliance and self-improvement, and for promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. It emphasizes upholding foundational principles while pursuing innovation, and exploring a path for future development. |
