| Ni Shi Dong X De(你是懂 X的) is a subjective evaluation of the hearer's epistemic status,exhibiting strong position sensitivity. In offline conversation, it appears as a prior extension in a request sequence, highlighting the truth of the attribute; in the online discourse network, it can be found in hashtags or secondary comments, emphasizing the truth of affirmative propositions and serving a stance-taking function. The two evaluative uses of Ni Shi Dong X De(你是懂 X的) form an evolutionary path of “quality >modality”, undergoing syntactic changes that involve the expansion of the component “X” and semantic metonymy. Externally, these changes are driven by pragmatic needs in mass communication and interactive demands within the discourse network context. The discourse network context shapes the evaluative sensitivity of the secondary comment position. Constructions that rely on the secondary comment position for negative evaluative interpretations are not limited to Ni Shi Dong X De(你是懂 X的). This indicates that Positionally Sensitive Grammar has strong theoretical universality and inferential power within the context of discourse network studies. |
