| 全国宣传思想文化工作会议正式提出并系统阐述了习近平文化思想，在党的宣传思想文化事业发展史上具有里程碑意义。其中，人民性是习近平文化思想最鲜明的品格，它是对马克思主义文化理论人民性的继承发扬、是对中华传统优秀文化人民性的智慧传承、是对党的百余年文化建设人民性的薪火相传。习近平文化思想在不同领域、多个维度彰显着人民性的鲜亮底色，在文化传承与保护上“要本着对历史负责、对人民负责的精神”，在文化繁荣与发展上“坚持以人民为中心的工作导向”，在文化交流与传播上“使文明交流互鉴成为增进各国人民友谊的桥梁”。习近平文化思想的人民性特质，既表明了中国特色社会主义文化的性质和方向，也指明了新时代中国推进文化建设工作的路径和方略，其对丰富发展马克思主义文化理论、引领铸就社会主义文化新辉煌、向世界绽放中华文化永久魅力具有重要意义。 |

| Xi Jinping Thought on Culture, elaborated on the National Conference on Propaganda, Ideology and Culture, is of milestone significance in the history of the Party’s propaganda, ideology and culture. people-orientedness, the most distinctive character of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture, is conceived as the inheritance and development of the people-orientedness in Marxist cultural theory, of the Chinese traditional excellent culture, and of the Party’s cultural construction in the century. It has been highlighted in different fields and dimensions in Xi Jinping Thought on Culture. It stresses the spirit of being responsible to history and to the people in cultural inheritance and protection, emphasizes the people-orientation in cultural prosperity and development, the mutual appreciation of civilisations as a bridge to enhance friendship among people in cultural exchanges and transmission. The people-orientedness of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture not only indicates the nature and direction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics, but also implicates the path and strategy of China’s cultural construction in the new era, which is of great significance to the development of the cultural theory of Marxism, to the leadership in forging a new splendour of socialist culture, and to the world’s blossoming of the permanent charm of Chinese culture. |
