| 位于江西中部的吉安，是明代“王学”在赣传播的大本营。江右王学的核心人物大部分来自此地。这与吉安地区自宋代以来逐步形成的学术氛围和思想土壤有关。自北宋欧阳修以来，吉安士大夫群体就逐步形成了强调自我修养和追求事功的传统。这种双重追求的价值观被今人概括为“庐陵精神”。吉安地区的阳明学推崇者，一直致力于借讲学以维世道、以淑民风，其与吉安的精神传统一脉相承。王时槐在吉安创办各种讲会传播和发展王阳明思想，成为明代中后期“王学”代表人物之一，其所创订的《西原会规十七条》成为江右王学思想传播的指导性文件。在这些会规条款中，吉安士大夫那种功业与内修逻辑相贯通的观念，与王阳明的“知行合一”学说有着深度的契合。 |

| Ji’an, located in the central part of Jiangxi Province, was the main base for the dissemination of Wang Yangming’s philosophy in Jiangxi during the Ming Dynasty. As the gathering place of the core figures of Wang Yangming’s philosophy, Ji’an was famous for its academic atmosphere and ideological foundation since the Song Dynasty, forming the dual value outlook called Luling Spirit of self-cultivation and the pursuit of achievements in practical affairs since Ouyang Xiu（a man of letter） in the Northern Song Dynasty.The advocates of Wang Yangming’s philosophy in Ji’an have always committed to maintaining social order and improving folk customs through lectures, which aligns with the spiritual tradition of Ji’an. Wang Shihuai, a representative figure of Wang Xue in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, has transmitted Wang Yangming’s thoughts by way of founding lecture societies in Ji’an, with his Seventeen Rules of the Xiyuan Club as the guiding document. Among these rules of the club, the concept of the logical connection between achievements and inner cultivation held by the scholar-officials in Ji’an deeply coincides with Wang Yangming’s doctrine of the unity of knowledge and action. |
