| 宋神宗元丰年间，黄庭坚知吉州太和县主政三年，他查民情，抗盐税，关心农事，为政清廉。公事完成之余，他热爱田园，寄情山水，与邻近官员交游，与故人遥相唱和，创作了近二百首诗歌。泰和三年，是其诗风成熟的关键时期。 |

| During the reign of Emperor Shenzong of North Song Dynasty, Huang Tingjian, the governor of Taihe County in Jizhou District for three years has conducted survey of the people’s living condition of the people, resisted salt taxes, promoted agricultural development, and maintained a clean and honest government. Besides his official duties, he showed his dedicated love to the countryside life and made friends with officials around the county by way of poems writing. In the meantime, he composed more than 200 poems and verses, which becomes the key period for the maturity of his poetic style during the threeyear stay in Taihe County. |
