| 习近平总书记关于党的自我革命的重要思想，建立在对马克思主义理论的深刻把握和党的历史经验全面总结的基础之上，在新时代推进全面从严治党的伟大实践中逐渐形成并概括的。这一思想讲清楚了中国共产党为什么要自我革命、为什么能自我革命、怎样推进自我革命的基本道理；从为什么能自我革命出发，论述了党的自我革命的价值观、认识论、方法论，这是关于党的自我革命的重要思想的哲理；根据这些哲理，从为什么要自我革命出发，阐述了关于党的自我革命引领伟大社会革命和跳出治乱兴衰历史周期率“两个答案”的基本原理；根据这两个基本原理，从怎样推进自我革命出发，提出了“九个以”的战略指导方针，由此构建了习近平总书记关于党的自我革命的重要思想的理论体系，深刻解答了新时代建设一个什么样的长期执政的马克思主义政党和怎样建设一个长期执政的马克思主义政党重大时代课题，具有原创性的贡献。 |

| Xi Jinping’s important thought on the Party’s self-revolution,based on a profound understanding of relevant Marxist theories and a comprehensive summary of the Party’s historical experience, has gradually taken shape in the practice of full and strict governance over the Party in the new era. This thought clarifies the basic principles of CPC’s motivation, capabilities and pathway to carry out self-revolution. From the motivation of Party’s self-revolution, it elaborates on the basic principles of the Party’s self-revolution leading the great social revolution and the two answers to historical cycle of rise and fall. From the capabilities Party’s self-revolution, it expounds on its values, epistemology, and methodology, which constitutes the philosophy of the Party’s self-revolution.From the pathway of Party’s self-revolution, it puts forward nine strategic guiding principles,constructing the theoretical system of Xi Jinping’s thought on the Party’s self-revolution. It addresses the major issues on what kind of Marxist party to build in the new era and how to build a governing Marxist party, making original contributions. |
