| As an inseparable part of Xi Jinping's cultural thought, Xi Jinping's important discourse on Chinese civilization defines the connotation, interprets the great value, reveals the development laws, summarizes the prominent characteristics of Chinese civilization, in which he emphasizes importance of the inheritance and innovation of Chinese civilization. Rich in content, rigorous in logic and profound in value, Xi Jinping's important discourse on Chinese civilization fundamentally is originated from his value consciousness and cultural confidence in Chinese civilization. To implement Xi Jinping's important discourse on Chinese civilization, we must adhere to cultural standards and promote the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture. We must strengthen cultural confidence and build modern civilization of the Chinese nation, deepen the exchange and mutual learning of civilizations, and promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. Thoroughly sorting out Xi Jinping's important discourse on Chinese civilization is of great significance for inheriting and developing Chinese civilization in the new era. |
