| 从毛泽东到习近平，中国共产党在探索如何跳出“历史周期率”的问题上，给出的第一个答案是“人民民主”，第二个答案是“自我革命”。对一个长期执政的党来说，民主侧重于人民这一外在力量对党进行监督，自我革命侧重于党自身内在力量的自我净化。二者归一，说到底就是要贯彻落实党的“批评与自我批评”之优良传统和作风，不断清除侵蚀党的健康肌体的病毒，使党永葆青春。 |

| How to jump out of the cycle of history? "By people's democracy", or "By self-revolution", which are answers given by the Communist Party of China from Mao Zedong to Xi Jinping. For a party in power for a long time, democracy means that the people, as an external force, supervise the party while self-revolution means self-purification of the party itself. Generally speaking, it is necessary to implement the Party's fine tradition and style of "criticism and self-criticism", constantly remove the virus that infects the healthy body of the Party, and make the Party full of youthful vitality. |
