| Marx and Engels jointly expressed their views of the internationality of socialist revolution in the European Revolution in 1848 and the Paris Commune in 1871. After Marx's death, Engels afforded his new understanding of the internationality of socialist revolution in his later years according to the new characteristics of the development of capitalist countries. In this aspect, the ideas of Marx and Engels, especially Engels' new understanding of the internationality of the socialist revolution in his later years, played a foundational role in Lenin's understanding of the internationality of the socialist revolution before and after the October Revolution, and was the connection point between Marx's and Lenin's thoughts. The ideas have the same origin. |
