| 在井冈山斗争时期，“八月失败”是一次十分重大的历史事件。在对这一事件的应对过程中，当时边界的主要领导人毛泽东表现出高超的政治能力。尽管由于湖南省委的不当指示、省委巡视员杜修经的错误导扬以及红四军自身的一些原因，最终导致了“八月失败”的后果，但是，在毛泽东的正确处置下，失败的形势得以扭转，失败的教训得到总结，为革命的继续发展奠定了共同的思想理论基础。回顾这段中国共产党的早期奋斗史，对于今天的领导干部提高政治能力仍有重要启示。 |

| During the period of the Jinggangshan revolutionary movement, the "August failure" is a very important historical event. In the process of dealing with the incident, Mao Zedong, the main leader of the borderlands at that time, showed a great political ability. Though the battles in August was defeated, which resulted from the inappropriate instructions of the Hunan provincial committee of the CPC, the wrong guide by inspector Du Xiujing, and some factors of the fourth Red Army itself, Mao properly handled the complex issues under the complicated situation and finally reversed the situation. In this way, he paved the way for the development of Chinese revolution. Reviewing the early history of the struggle of the CPC is helpful for today's government officials to improve their political abilities. |
