| 执政党意识形态安全是指掌握了国家权力、处于执政地位的政党所主张的意识形态能够适应经济基础的发展要求，保持自身结构上的稳定，能够发挥正常功能并免遭来自国家内部或外部异质意识形态因素的侵蚀、破坏或颠覆，确保执政党意识形态能够得到国内外的广泛认同。执政党意识形态安全具有广泛的影响性、间接的强制性、内容的综合性、鲜明的时代性等特征。切实维护执政党意识形态安全，利于坚持党的性质和宗旨，便于化解利益冲突和社会矛盾，可以保障个体权利和社会公平正义，能够巩固政治合法性和执政基础。 |

| The ideological security of the ruling party means the ideology advocated by the ruling party that has assumed the state powercan maintain the stability of its own structure when it meets the demand of development of the economic foundation, and plays a normal function while avoiding itself from being eroded, destroyed, and subverted by the heterogeneous ideology at home and abroad, guarantees that it itself can be widely recognized at home and abroad. It is characterized by the wide-ranging influence, indirect compulsion, and distinctive brand of times. Effectively safeguarding the ideological security of the ruling party is conducive to adhering to the spirit and tenet of the party, to resolution of conflict of interest and of social contradictions, to guaranteeing individual rights and social fairness and justice, and to consolidation of the political legitimacy and foundation of governance of the ruling party. |
