| 左翼时期，国共双方均非常重视文艺理论建设，但理论建设效果却截然不同。从宏观层面看，具有深厚历史哲学基础的马克思主义因其卓越的思辨力量以及对现实问题的积极回应而显示出强大的生命力；三民主义则因充满歧义与裂隙的思想、超越性精神价值的缺失，以及趋于保守的文化价值取向，显示出理论疲态；从微观层面看，一方面，双方的起点不同，中共主导下的文艺理论以国外蓬勃发展的马克思主义文艺理论为起点，其发展是一个从“有”到“好”的过程。三民主义文艺的发展则是从“无”到“有”；另一方面，马克思主义文艺理论内涵单一，有很强的理论凝聚力且发展具有连续性，国民党的文艺理论则因三民主义内部的模糊与歧义而增加了其开展的难度。 |

| In the left-wing period, both the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China attached great importance to the construction of the theory of literature and art, but they got a different result. From a macro perspective, Marxism with a profound foundation of philosophy of history shows strong vitality because of its outstanding dialectical power and positive response to realistic situations while the three principles of the people(Nationalism, Democracy and the people's livelihood) have a certain disadvantages in the literary theory because its thought is full of ambiguity and cracks, lack of transcendental spiritual value and conservative in the cultural value orientation.From the micro perspective, on the one hand, the two kinds of theories have the different starting points. The theory of literature and art under the leadership of the Communist Party of China is based on the flourishing Marxist theory of literature and art in foreign countries while that of the three principles of the people is from scratch; on the other hand, the connotation of Marxist theory of literature and art is united and has a strong theoretical cohesion and continuity while the ambiguity of the three principles of the people brings a certain negative influence on the development of the theory of literature and art of the Kuomintang. |
