| 用典作为一种修辞手法,其目标在于挖掘和运用修辞资源,达到话语修辞的终极目标——"寻求认同"。政治话语中的用典,不仅是传情达意的点缀品,更是一种运用修辞力量达到政治交际目的的手段。当用典面对异文化语境的域外听众时,其背后的文化与修辞资源失灵,翻译在语言转换和意义传递的同时,必须担起政治修辞的责任,将用典所承载的修辞功能与交际目的成功再现。政治话语中用典应采取修辞性翻译策略,将用典修辞目标的再现作为翻译的首要任务,从情感、理性、人格和美学四个方面构建原语言的修辞目的。 |

| The ultimate goal of quotes as a rhetorical device, is to seek identity through exploring rhetorical resources in the discourse. The quote in the political discourses is not only an embellishment of expressiveness, but also a means of political communication through rhetorical power. When the quotes in the discourse turn out to be invalid in the face of the foreign audience, the quotes translation must assume the responsibility of political rhetoric and represent the rhetorical function and communicative purpose in the target language. In the political discourse, the quotes translation should adopt the rhetorical strategy, and construct the rhetorical purposes of the original language from four aspects:pathos, logos, ethos and aesthetics. |
