| 新时代高等教育承担着培养担当民族复兴大任的时代新人的历史任务。人才的培养，关键在教师。高校培养出来的人才能否成为担当民族复兴大任的时代新人，关键看高校教师是否“政治素质过硬”。只有“政治素质过硬”，才能保证高等教育的社会主义方向，才能贯彻好党的教育方针，实现党对教育的全面领导。新时代高校教师“政治素质过硬”，是基于“立德树人”根本任务的时代要求，是立足教育主体成长发展的主体要求，是适应高等教育深化改革形势的现实要求。 |

| In the new era, higher education undertakes the historical task of cultivating new talents for our national rejuvenation. The key factor to the cultivation of talents lies in teachers. Whether the talents cultivated by colleges and universities can fulfill the great task of national rejuvenation depends on "excellent political quality" of the teachers in the higher education institutions. Only with "excellent political quality" can we ensure the socialist direction of higher education, implement the party's educational policy and realize the party's overall leadership over education. The "excellent political quality" of university teachers in the new era becomes the times requirement of the fundamental task of "moral cultivation", the main requirement of the growth and development of the main body of education, and the practical requirement to adapt to the situation of deepening reform of higher education. |
