| The study holds that, in the new era, adhering to and improving advanced socialist culture is of great importance to promote the modernization of China's national governance system and governance capacity, to build a modern economic system and to develop the socialist culture with Chinese characteristic. To uphold and improve the advanced socialist culture, we must adhere to Xi Jinping's thought on Socialist with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, taking the people-centered orientation, reform and innovation as the basic principles. It is advised that we should strengthen the guiding position of Marxism in the field of ideology, cultivate socialist core values, protect people's cultural rights and interests, and enhance the guiding power of public opinion. |
