| 举办中小学教员讲习会，是抗战时期国民政府教育部及后方各省教育厅所采取的主要措施之一，其目的在于培训师资，增进教学效率。从1938年至1945年，甘肃省教育厅克服各种困难，举办和参加了3次中学教员暑期讲习会。又联合甘肃科学教育馆等机构合办或主办了38次小学教员假期讲习班。这些措施的实行，使封闭落后的甘肃教育迎来了发展的契机，受到了各地中小学教员的欢迎，并在一定程度上推动了全省中小学教育的发展。 |

| In order to train teachers and improve teaching quality, the Vacation Training Workshops for Primary and Middle School Teachers were opened as one of the major measures taken by the Ministry of Education of the National Government and the Education Departments of the rear provinces during the Anti-Japanese War. From 1938 to 1945, three summer workshops for secondary school teachers were established in Gansu Provincial Education Department and 38 workshops for primary school teachers were held together with Gansu Scientific Education Center and other institutions under the severe difficulties. The implementation of these measures made the backward education of Gansu Province witness rapid development, which was welcomed by the local primary and secondary school teachers, and to a certain extent, promoted the development of primary and secondary education in Gansu Province. |
