| 不忘初心是立足于新时代中国特色社会主义，在迈向中华民族伟大复兴征程中，中国共产党人与广大人民群众不断续写中华民族辉煌篇章的铮铮誓言和使命担当。全党同志不忘初心，需要弄清缘何“不忘初心”、何谓“不忘初心”和如何“不忘初心”三个基本问题。不忘初心是新时代中国共产党人永葆先进性和纯洁性，抵御各类风险和挑战，勇于自我革命，把中国特色社会主义事业推向新高度的精神动力，回答了缘何“不忘初心”。为中国人民谋幸福，为中华民族谋复兴是不忘初心的核心要义，回答了何谓“不忘初心”。不忘初心要求全体共产党人始终如一地坚持马克思主义指导思想，坚定共产主义理想信念，坚守全心全意为人民服务的根本宗旨，坚信中国共产党的领导，回答了如何“不忘初心”。 |

| Remaining True to the Original Aspiration is based on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. In the course of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, it becomes the solemn oath and great mission of Chinese Communists and the masses of the people. It is necessary for all Party members to understand three basic questions: why, what and how to remain true to the original aspiration. Only by remaining true to the original aspiration can the Chinese Communists preserve their advanced nature and purity, resist all kinds of risks and challenges, bravely revolutionize themselves, and push the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics to a new height. Remaining true to the original aspiration calls upon all the Chinese communists to seek happiness for the Chinese people and strive for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Remaining true to the original aspiration requires all the Chinese communists to consistently take Marxism as the guiding ideology, to strengthen the ideals and beliefs of communism, to adhere to the fundamental purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly, and to firmly believe in the leadership of the Communist Party of China. |
