| 蒋其章，于1872年至1875年担任《申报》第一任主笔。“剪淞病旅”是他在《申报》期间不为人熟知的笔名，考证这一笔名对于考察《申报》第一任主笔蒋其章的生平经历与早期《申报》的文人唱酬活动都具有重要的文献价值与学术史意义。首先，“剪淞病旅”在1874年底至1875年初，频繁参加沪上文人雅集，而蒋其章本年度是《申报》主笔，主持海上文坛。其次，“剪淞病旅”于1875年离开沪上，有江西之行，而蒋其章1875年初因准备科举考试而从申报馆辞职。第三，蒋其章于1877年高中丁丑会试，而申报馆在公布会试题名录的第二天即刊登了《敬贺剪淞》，指出“剪淞病旅”为浙江人士，曾主持《申报》笔政，且名列本科会榜。 |

| Jiang Qizhang was the first chief editor of SHUN PAO, and Jiansongbinglv was his pseudonym frequently used on the newspaper from 1874 to early 1875. It is of great value to identify relationship between the two names. Firstly, Jiansongbinglv participated in literati parties in Shanghai from the end of 1874 to the beginning of 1875. And Jiang Qizhang, the first editor of SHUN PAO, presided over the literary arena in Shanghai. Secondly, Jiansongbinglv left Shanghai in 1875 and had a trip to Jiangxi, while Jiang Qizhang resigned to prepare for the imperial examination next year in the same time. Thirdly, Jiang Qizhang passed the imperial examination in 1877, and SHUN PAO published a notice to congratulate Jiansongbinglv on his excellent records in the same exam. From all of the details we can conclude that "Jiansongbinglv" is the pseudonym of Jiang Qi-zhang, the first chief editor of SHUN PAO. |
