| General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to education and makes strategic decisions to give priority to educational work. Xi Jinping's expositions on education are bound with a distinct internal rationale, which is reflected in the following three aspects. For individual growth, it takes as the cultivation path moral education as the first, hard work as the basis and serving the country as the ultimate goal. For personal education, it advocates as the training path acquisition of knowledge, building up sublime ideals and learning through doing. In education strategic planning, it adheres to create good family traditions, cultivate excellent teachers, and give priority to the development of education. Xi Jinping's expositions on education contain three implications, i.e. to pursue a better life, to achieve great rejuvenation, and to hold firm and strong faith. |
