| 道经是道教的经书典籍，道教是中国土生土长的宗教。道教自东汉创立以来，经过历代发展，创制了数量浩繁的道经。道经文体多样，内容丰富，有很高的语料价值。其词汇研究的成果，对汉语词汇史研究具有重要的意义，具体体现在：扩充、丰富了汉语词汇，纠正了词语释义的偏误，补充了词语的释义，把许多词语的首先年代提前等。道教词汇研究对于词典的收词释义有参考价值。 |

| Taoist scriptures are classics for Taoism which originated in China. Since Taoism was founded in the Eastern Han Dynasty, various Taoist scriptures were created from generation to generation. They are diverse in style, rich in content and full of corpus values. Results of lexicological study of Taoist scriptures has a great significance for the research on the history of Chinese lexicology, such as enriching Chinese vocabulary, correcting some mistakes of interpretation of Chinese words, supplementing meanings of some Chinese words, tracing formation of many words back earlier, being used as reference for some dictionaries, etc. |
