| 马克思、恩格斯在对人类社会形态历史变迁的客观规律和必然趋势进行总体考察的时候，科学地揭示了内含其中的人类社会政治发展规律。这些宝贵的思想因子对中国特色社会主义政治发展有着重要的启示意义：政治发展是社会主义社会的一项重要任务；推动这项重要任务的有效途径是社会主义政治改革，在改革过程中政治通过自身发展逐步实现政治反哺经济，公共权利回归社会，人与社会和谐相处，最终奔向共产主义的必然前途。因此，改革的目的不仅止于维持政治和行政运转，而应该将有限的资源更多地投入到经济发展和社会发展当中，使发展的成果惠及经济、社会，为实现人的自由全面发展创造条件。 |

| Marx and Engels revealed the law of political development when they investigated the objective law and inevitable trend of the historical changes of human society. It had an important significance on the development of socialist politics with Chinese characteristics. It makes us know that political development is an important task of socialist society, that the effective way of promoting this important task is socialist political reform, that, in the process of reform, politics through its self-development, promotes economy, and make public rights return to society itself and people live in harmony with society. Therefore, the purpose of reform is not only to maintain operation of political and administrative system, but also to put more resources into the economic and social development in order to achieve the free and all-round development of human being. |
