| Based upon the cognitive metaphor theory, the paper aims to delve into the explicit and implicit representation of thoughts in Lao Tzu, exploring its "poetic wisdom" which combines the logic ontology with aesthetic representation, demonstrating the conceptual system and features of Tao, exploring the images and objects that are used repeatedly when talking about "Tao", based on which, a special diagram of Tao and its representations is reasoned out. At last, the paper points to its key ideas:governance of a state, self-improvement and destiny. |
