| 读书贯穿于毛泽东的一生。1918年之前，毛泽东读书广泛涉及中学与西学，为其后续深入研读马克思主义及中国传统文化奠定了坚实的基础。1918年之后，毛泽东一直研读马克思主义及中国传统文化不辍。毛泽东对马克思主义及中国传统文化的认真研读及有机融合使得他最终成为了马克思主义中国化的经典理论作家。 |

| Reading runs through Mao Zedong's whole life. Before 1918, Mao read a wide range of books including both Chinese and western knowledge, which paves a way for him to study Marxism and traditional Chinese culture. After 1918, he mainly read up books related to Marxism and traditional Chinese culture. This made him become a great thinker in localization of Marxism in China. |
