| Xi Jinping thought on the inspection work for a New Era, which is characterized by the inherent logic and distinct characteristics, is an significant part of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Its inherent logic is shown that its essential attribute is political inspection, that its general objective is to identify problems for producing deterrent effects and force reform for promoting development, that its basic requirement is overall inspection, and that its inevitable course is combination of regular inspection with special inspection. The distinct characteristics of the Thought consists of the spirit of keeping pace with the times, the attitude of seeking truth and pragmatism, the spirit of being ready to take on responsibility, and the thinking of dialectical unity. |
