      “花家舍”是格非《江南三部曲》里反复出现的意象和精神寄托,是一处类似“乌托邦”的理想之地。然则怀揣“乌托邦心态”的各类人物却一再遭到现实的无情拒绝,从陆秀米到谭功达再到谭端午,人物的内心世界始终轮回呈现“向外走——向内转”的相同趋势。在不同制度下出现的种种社会悖论也体现了作者对于人生和宿命决断的沉重思考。
英文摘要:
      Hua Jia She (The Huas' House",the image and spiritual resort repetitively presented in Gefei's Jiang Nan San Bu Qu (Trilogy of the Southern River Bank), is a somewhat Utopian realm. However, the characters living there with "Utopian" ideals tend to be suppressed by the realities. All of them, from Lu Xiumi, Tan Gongda to Tan Duanwu, show incarnations from "extrovert toward the real world to introvert toward the isolated self". The various social paradox they experience in different social systems show the author's serious meditation on life and destiny.
