| 新公布清华简《系年》首章有对西周兴衰过程的俯瞰性描述。其中，"作帝籍"和"弃帝籍"在这一过程中起到了关键性作用：就周兴而言，"作帝籍"是武王能够克商的重要手段；就周衰而言，"弃帝籍"则是周宣王败师千亩的直接原因。通过对帝籍礼沿革的详细考证，可以判定这一记载具有一定真实性。可以说，武王"作帝籍"在克商的过程中，确实具有很重要的政治意义；而宣王因"弃帝籍"而导致千亩之战的失败，则与后人之附会有关。 |

| In the first chapter of the recently released Xi Nian (Chronicles) pieces in Tsinghua-collected wooden slips there are panoramic descriptions of the rise and fall of Western Zhou Dynasty. According to the descriptions, "adoption of imperial farming rite" and "abandonment of imperial farming rite" play key roles in the evolution process. In the rising of Zhou Dynasty, "adoption of imperial farming rite" helped King Wu to prevail Shang forces; In the fall of Zhou Dynasty, "abandonment of imperial farming rite" resulted in the defeat of King Xuan. Through scrutiny of the inheritance and development of imperial farming rite, it can be confirmed that such records are reliable to certain extent. It is believable that the adoption of the rite was politically significant for King Wu's victory, while it is a late-invented argument that abandonment of the rite led to King Xuan's defeat in Qianmu battle. |
