| 中国共产党所领导的革命，与以往任何的革命都不同，这就决定了革命军队必须是为党的政治目标服务的武装组织，因而只能是党指挥枪，而不是枪指挥党。党对军队的领导，不仅仅是在组织上的领导，同时也是在政治上和思想上的领导。而且，军队必须积极参与到组织群众、宣传群众、动员群众的工作中来。这也是中共建设新型人民军队的内在逻辑和历史经验。 |

| The army led by the Communist Party of China is by nature forces for realizing the Party's political goal. It is inherently under the Party's direction in organization, politics and ideologies. Besides, the army is required to take active participation of organizing, informing and mobilizing the mass people. Such are the inherent logic by which the CPC successfully established a new type people's army, and also experiences it gained therefrom. |
