| Henry David Thoreau was the greatest American nature writer and environmentalist pioneer. Walden is a well-known collection of prose by Thoreau.In the book,the ability of agent and narrative ability of Walden Pond and all the things within it were fully reflected under Thoreau's description.Thoreau was sure that Walden was equal to human beings and at the same time he saw the effect of its agent's ability of and read its narrative language,showing us through what means Walden displayed its own dignity and status not to be trodden down in the nature. |
