| 长征向我们展示了在中国共产党领导下红军特有的品质，即坚定的马克思主义信仰、无畏的革命信念、严格的组织纪律以及为民族独立和人民解放而担当重任的品质。这四种铁一般的品质是红军长征胜利的重要保障。当前，回顾和总结长征中的“四铁”精神，对于贯彻落实习近平主席提出的改革强军目标，建设一支“听党指挥、能打胜仗、作风优良”的人民军队无疑具有十分重要的意义。 |

| In its Long March the CPC-led Red Army demonstrated its unique qualities of firm Marxist beliefs, dauntless revolutionary courage, strict organizing disciplines and a sense of mission for national independence and people's liberation. Such iron qualities are guarantees for the Red Army's victory in the Long March. Reviews of those "iron spirits" are helpful for realizing President Xi's goal in army reform and shaping a people's army which is "under the Party's direction, specialized to win victory and conducting good behaviors". |
