| It is in Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base that the military sports conducted by the CPC was formed and developed. The military sports training improved the Red Army's combating forces and shaped their courage for fighting, and laid a preliminary basis for the military sports of the PLA. It is significant for the PLA to inherit and have full play of the military sports tradition initiated in Jinggangshan. |
