| In the Grand Dictionary of Chinese Language there are some inaccuracies, errors, oversights or omissions in the definitions of six Chinese terms "yinxiang"(印香), "zhigong"(至公), "suhua"(素华), "yuban"(鱼须), "yuxu"(鱼鬚) and "yubanban"(鱼须笏), together with some inappropriateness to their illustrations of usage. To such a situation, this paper makes examinations with proofs in documentary and proposes some amendments and addenda. |
