| 现代社会全面而深刻的转型，既松动了事实与价值之间原本所具有的统一关系，也改变了知识分子的社会地位、生活方式和身份意识。现代社会的价值知识再也难以获得其在传统社会所拥有的那种普遍性与权威性，现代社会的知识分子也不再能够像传统社会中知识分子那样以权威知识的代言者自居，这就使得现代社会中的知识分子在价值立场和道德定位方面面临着前所未有的挑战与尴尬。但是，这并不意味着现代社会就不可能再有普遍性的价值知识，也不意味着现代知识分子应当放弃他的价值立场与道德定位。相反，现代知识分子应当立足于世俗社会生活本身，以其超越的情怀和敏锐的洞察，阐明看似主观杂乱的社会生活中那些具有普遍性和客观性的价值事件和价值关系，并在此基础上锚定自身的价值立场，从而引领现代社会生活的道德更新。 |

| Thanks to the comprehensive and profound transformation of modern society, people witnesses not only loosening of the unity between fact and value, but also the changes in intellectuals' social status, life style and identity consciousness. Such a situation on the one hand weakens the commonality and authority of value knowledge, thus putting traditional intellectuals who claim to champion authorial knowledge into unprecedented dilemma of value standpoint and moral orientation. It on the other hand provides new development space for rationalizing the value and morality in secular life basis, for such rationalization by essential call for intellectuals' elaboration and innovation on conditions of reflective critique. |
