| The revolutionary historical novels in "the seventeen years" often underwent many revisions and adaptations. The revisions and adaptation highlight the "fashion culture" and social needs of images in different times, but also reflects the inherent gaps between the author and the work-under-evolution. The revolutionary transformation of chivalry and folk culture has been the core in the textual revision, edition dissemination and artistic adaptation of the novel Tie Dao You Ji Dui (Guerrilla on Rails). Author of the work, Liu Zhixia, upholds his recognition and love of folk cultures in the cracks between culture and politics, and his potential writing in general undermines the revolutionary dichotomy. |
