| As a leader of communalism, Charles Taylor criticizes the conception of "self" in neoliberalism and, on that basis, constructs a "conception of sharing self" which puts great emphasis on the functions of moral framework, public good, language and moral sources in construction of a self. His deep analysis and interpretation of self in modernity is quite inspiring on the reconstruction of social public values for China today. |
