| 社会主义核心价值观的生命力、凝聚力、感召力,在于它自身内在的先进性。这种先进性表现在四个方面:从国家、社会、公民三个不同层次阐明主体的价值诉求,凝聚了现阶段全社会的价值共识;继承了中华优秀传统文化,吸收了世界文明有益成果,体现了民族性、时代性与开放性的高度统一;为绝大多数人谋利益,契合了马克思主义"人民主体"的精神要旨;将"富强"与"和谐、平等、公正"结合在一起,彰显了"共同富裕"的中国特色社会主义根本原则。 |

| The attraction and appeal of socialist core values lie in their inherent advanced nature which is embodied in four respects. They express the subject value appeals from levels of nation, society and citizens, thus condensing the value consensus of the whole society in this stage. They inherit excellent Chinese cultural tradition and absorb useful elements of global civilization, thus reflecting the integration of national feature, time characteristic and openness. They work for the benefits of most people, consistent with Marxist spirits of "people as subject". They put "prosperity" with "harmony", "equality" and "justice", thus highlighting "common prosperity", the fundamental principle of socialism with Chinese characteristics. |
