| Instead of a modern-invention, illegal possession crime is an ancient-long crime which almost evolved simultaneously with the criminal laws of the country. Characterized in wide applicability and severe punishments, the crime was aimed to intervene into political, social and ideological fields with obvious purposes of maintaining feudal social hierarchy and regal system. |
