| 元杂剧《西厢记》没有留下元代的文本,明代却仍有五十馀种版本留存至今。现存明刊《西厢记》从早期的弘治岳刻本始,其文本从内容到体制形式一直都处在演变中,至万历朝基本形成了四大版本系统。天启之后,《西厢记》文本出现了凌濛初朱墨套印本和闵寓五的《会真六幻》本等新品种,它们是凌、闵二氏对之前文本校改整理的结果。 |

| Though Xi Xiang Ji (Love Story in Western Chamber), a drama written in Yuan Dynasty, left no written text of Yuan Dynasty, it had more than 50 versions published in Ming Dynasty. In surveying the existent versions, it could be found that the versions underwent constant evolution since the early Hongzhi Yueke edition, and later formed four edition systems in Wanli Reign period. After Tianqi Reign years, the Xi Xiang Ji books saw new versions including Ling Mengchu's red-black print and Min Yuwu's version titled Hui Zhen Liu Huan (Six Fictions of the Love Story). The two were based on Ling Meng Chu and Min Yuwu's collation of former prints. |
