| 在汉诗中,标点符号不仅起着语法的作用,还可起到修辞的美学作用;标点虽小,却关系到诗歌的神韵。汉语与英语的标点符号不仅本身存在差异,同一标点符号的使用习惯也不尽相同,从而为翻译中标点符号的创造性运用提供了理论上的依据。在汉诗英译中,标点符号的巧妙变通,常为译诗带来不可忽视的美学效果,并体现了译者的良苦用心。 |

| Poetic beauty is based on beauty of language, whether in Chinese or English poetry. The same is true in English translation of Chinese poems. Hence, in translating Chinese poems, it is necessary to represent Chinese lingual beauty with English language. The language beauty in poems are reflected principally through elegance, easiness, correspondence,simplicity, harmony and exactness. |
