| In the People's Republic age, Guo Moruo wrote many literary works and had them published in news papers and magazines. Many of those works focus on the enthusiasms of a fire-burning time and the figures of a national state, and they construct cultural codes for the political legitimacy of the new Republic and socialist modernization. Hence they are characterized in the literary images and marks of a "transitional age". But they are misread by many readers. |
