| Political building is fundamental for Marxist political parties. Through a century of exploration, the Communist Party of China（CPC） concludes that there is threefold logic in the political building, that is to say, the historical logic, theoretical logic as well as practical logic. In the historical logic, the principle that "political work is the lifeline of all work" during the period of socialist revolution and construction opens up the way for the party's political building, "political awareness " is its foundation in the reform and opening up, and the principle of "taking the party's political building as the guide" in the practice of strict self-governance over the party in every respect makes it mature. As for the theoretical logic, it means that ideas of Marx, Engels, and the major leaders of the party contribute wisdom to the political building of the party, and the scientific world outlook and methodology of Marxism provide guidance for it. The practical logic lies in upholding the authority of the CPC Central Committee and centralized and unified leadership of the Party, improving and implementing various aspects of democratic centralism, and enforcing strict self-governance over the party in every respect continuously. |
