| 启蒙，意谓人的主体精神的张扬。西方启蒙主义思想深刻影响了中国与非洲的文学和文化发展。启蒙视域下中、非现代小说有着不同的历史发展轨迹，但追求人的主体性张扬和精神觉醒是其现代小说的共同目标。中、非现代文学之父鲁迅与阿契贝，二者的小说作为主体创作中的"个"文化观与"中间"文化观都看取西方的文化启蒙思维，但同时又把对启蒙的个性思维导向不同民族的现代性建设，为启蒙的多样化发展提供了不同思考，维护了人类的启蒙正义性与公理性，是对启蒙源初意义上的普遍性的发扬。二者的比较凸显现代小说的未来意义在于：需要对文学作为现代文化转型之一的启蒙意义进行回溯，深化第三世界文学的主体性视角，拓展文学作为世界想象性认同的包蕴力量。 |

| Enlightenment pays great attention to human's subjective spirit. Western Enlightenment thought has a profound impact on the development of literature and culture both in China and in Africa. From the perspective of enlightenment, modern Chinese and African novels have different historical development tracks;however, they have the common goal, that is, the pursuit of human subjectivity and spiritual awakening. In their novels, both Lu Xun, the father of modern Chinese literature, and Achebe, the father of modern African literature, expressed their "individual" and "middle" cultural views, which are influenced by western cultural enlightenment thought. Meanwhile, they put the individual thinking of enlightenment into the construction of modernity of different nations, providing different thinking for the diversity of enlightenment, maintaining the justice and oself-evident truth of humanenlightenment, which carry forward the original meaning of enlightenment. The future of Chinese and African modern novels lies in:tracing back the enlightenment significance of literature that is one kind of the modern cultural transformation, deepening the subjective perspective of the third world literature, and expanding the connotative power of literature as the world imaginative identity. |
